Job Title: Occupational Therapist (School-Based)

Location: Cicero, Illinois
Duration: 42 Weeks (Contract | 2025–2026 School Year)
Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide in-person therapeutic services to students. The ideal candidate will support student development by addressing physical, sensory, and motor skill challenges that impact academic performance and daily functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in a school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Implement interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and evaluations
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License (required at time of submission)
• Previous school-based experience required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying needs and age groups
