Job Title: Senior .NET Lead Architect

Location: Menands, NY (Onsite from Day 1)
Duration: Long-Term Contract (4 Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Lead Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong technical expertise across full-stack .NET development, cloud technologies, and team leadership, with a focus on building scalable and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of .NET-based applications
• Oversee full-stack development including front-end, middleware, and database layers
• Guide and mentor development teams (minimum team size of 5)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security
• Manage deployments, CI/CD processes, and cloud integrations
• Review code, enforce standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues

Required Qualifications

7+ Years Experience

Front-End Technologies:

• ASP.NET Core, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5
• Bootstrap, CSS/SCSS/LESS
• Razor Pages, AJAX
• Experience with third-party UI controls (e.g., Telerik, Infragistics)

Middleware / Backend:

• .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core
• Web API development
• LINQ, XML, JSON, Swagger

Tools & Platforms:

• Docker, Docker Desktop
• Visual Studio
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Internet Information Services (IIS)

Database:

• SQL Server
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures

4+ Years Experience

Cloud Technologies:

• Azure Application Insights
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Functions
• Azure Redis Cache
• Azure Blob Storage / File Share

Code Management & DevOps:

• Git / TFS
• Azure DevOps

Leadership:

• Experience leading teams of at least 5 developers

2+ Years Experience

• Unit testing frameworks such as XUnit or NUnit
• Writing and maintaining unit test cases
• Experience with Jira or similar tracking tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• 10+ years of experience as a Development Lead or Technical Lead in a .NET environment
