Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / Float (ICU / Med-Surg Tele)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Shift: Rotating Nights (07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12-hour shifts)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in critical care for a contract assignment. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to float between ICU and Med/Surg Tele units based on patient needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Conduct ongoing physical, psychological, and social patient assessments
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Function as a charge nurse when required
  • Utilize electronic medical records and nursing informatics systems effectively
  • Support patient education and discharge planning
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
  • Mentor and assist in training/orienting staff as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license (Massachusetts)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
  • CCHC Pharmacology Exam – Required
  • CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam – Required
  • Prior critical care experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • CCRN certification
  • TCAR certification
  • De-escalation certification
  • Experience with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and ICP monitoring
