Shift: Day Shift (07:30 AM – 03:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support patients with mental health needs in a clinical setting. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety, provide emotional support, and assist in implementing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the care and supervision of patients with behavioral health conditions
• Monitor patient behavior and promptly report changes to clinical staff
• Provide emotional support and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Support patients with daily activities and interactions
• Follow established safety protocols and facility guidelines
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document patient activities, observations, and incidents

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience (required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism
• Knowledge of patient safety practices and behavioral health protocols

Certifications & Licenses

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
