Registered Nurse (RN) – Day/Night Shift
Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-site)
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Day or Night (6:30 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
Schedule: 36–40 hours/week (Alternating: 36 hours one week, 40 hours the next)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care in a geriatric/skilled nursing setting. This role involves administering medications, coordinating resident care, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards while supporting residents’ overall well-being.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced long-term care environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed within RN scope of practice
  • Perform admission assessments for new residents
  • Assist in MDS assessments, care plans, and quarterly reviews
  • Participate in shift reports and communicate resident updates
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and support staff
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor and respond to changes in resident condition
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
  • Participate in care planning and team-based nursing delivery
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care teams
  • Participate in training and professional development activities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or Compact License
  • Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts
  • Experience or knowledge in geriatric or long-term care
  • Strong understanding of medication administration and treatment protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong observational and clinical assessment skills
