Shift Options:

  • Evening: 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
  • Night: 5x8-Hour (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care in a long-term care and acute clinical setting. This role requires the ability to perform a wide range of patient care tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established care plans and clinical protocols
  • Greet and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and readiness
  • Take, monitor, and accurately record vital signs and patient progress
  • Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical areas
  • Administer injections and assist with procedures such as pap smears and other treatments
  • Support general administrative duties, including scheduling, documentation, and chart preparation
  • Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain authorizations for procedures and treatments
  • Communicate with primary care providers to secure referrals and extensions
  • Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatments
  • Participate in unit operations and support overall nursing team efficiency
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems effectively

Qualifications

  • Active and valid LPN license in the state of New York
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in long-term care, hospital, or clinical settings preferred (not required)
