Shift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced PCU / Med-Surg Stepdown Registered Nurse (MSDU RN) to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced intermediate care environment. This unit serves a diverse adult acute care population requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for Med-Surg and Stepdown patients
• Monitor and manage cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
• Manage IV therapies, including titratable infusions
• Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation
• Care for patients with arterial lines, central lines, and telemetry monitoring
• Perform patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License (must be in hand)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU / Stepdown / Med-Surg experience
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • NIHSS (required at submission if available)
• EPIC experience required
