Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical (High Acuity Trauma Unit)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift

Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Medical/Surgical unit specializing in surgical trauma care. The unit manages complex and critical patient cases including spinal injuries and neuro trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for a high-acuity surgical trauma population
• Manage patients with conditions such as gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing support techs, phlebotomists, unit secretaries, ED staff, and admitting nurses
• Participate in structured nurse-to-nurse handoff process

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical or Trauma nursing
• Active BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong experience with EPIC EMR required
• Must be flexible to work assigned night shifts (no block scheduling)
• No RTO (Requested Time Off not permitted during assignment)
