Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a high-volume, leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and packaging of surgical instruments
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness
• Assemble surgical trays and ensure accuracy of instrument sets
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, washers, and related systems
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterilization processes
• Follow strict infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) experience
• Active certification required: CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM
• Certification must be active and available at the time of submission
• Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
