Assignment Details

• Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Floating: Required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical/Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, prior travel experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Stroke Stepdown unit
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as stroke, altered mental status, renal failure, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and other general medical-surgical diagnoses
• Utilize clinical equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Medical/Surgical experience with Stroke Stepdown experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Active RN License (New York)
• AHA BLS Certification (Current)
• NIHSS Certification (required; can be obtained prior to start)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses
