Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (RN-OR)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30303
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Night Shift – 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Schedule: Includes on-call, weekends, and holidays (No block scheduling)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN-OR) to join a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in critical care settings and have a strong background in trauma and perioperative nursing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond effectively to changes during procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Strong clinical skills with high competency ratings on skills checklist
• Ability to work nights, on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in burn trauma cases
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, CNOR (as applicable)
