Location: Brooklyn, NY (On-Site)
Duration: 8 Weeks Contract
Shift: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to manage and oversee all aspects of provider credentialing and privileging. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining accurate and up-to-date credentialing records for medical staff and allied health professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, and compliance expertise in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for healthcare providers
• Perform credential audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Utilize credentialing systems (e.g., MDStaff or similar platforms) to track provider data and background verifications
• Maintain accurate and complete credentialing records and documentation
• Ensure adherence to hospital bylaws, corporate policies, and accrediting body standards
• Interpret and apply applicable laws, regulations, and credentialing guidelines
• Collaborate with internal departments and medical staff offices
• Monitor expirations, renewals, and follow-up requirements for provider credentials

Required Qualifications

• Experience in provider credentialing, medical staff services, or healthcare administration
• Strong understanding of credentialing processes, privileging, and compliance standards
• Experience with credentialing software (MDStaff preferred or equivalent systems)
• Proven ability to conduct audits and ensure data accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
