Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures on adult and geriatric patients while ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment safely
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and best practices
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide appropriate care
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for accurate diagnostics
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Active state license required at time of submission
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • CNMT or NMTCB certification
• Experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems required
• Ability to float within scope as needed
