Duration: 18-week assignment

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care facility. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing a wide range of emergency cases and demonstrate strong clinical judgment in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rapid assessment and treatment for emergency patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms with high accuracy
• Administer medications and interventions using automated medication systems
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems
• Float to other units as needed based on skillset and patient care needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of current Emergency Department experience preferred
• Active state RN license required at time of submission
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills (testing required)
• Experience with electronic charting systems required
• Familiarity with automated medication dispensing systems preferred
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment
