Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule:

• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Call: Rotating on-call schedule required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in maintaining sterile technique, preparing surgical equipment, and assisting during complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR and Hybrid Cath Lab
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure operating room readiness
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support the surgical team during procedures
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
• Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT) required
• Active Colorado CST License (DORA) required
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
