Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Location: New York, NY 10037
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends & holidays required)


Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality radiographic images for physician interpretation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and proficient in operating imaging equipment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic exams as ordered
  • Position patients to obtain accurate, high-quality images
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper identification
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment; report malfunctions
  • Follow radiation safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff

Qualifications

  • Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • ARRT certification and registration required
  • Active NY State Radiologic Technologist license (NYSDOH)
  • Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience
  • Strong knowledge of imaging techniques and radiation safety
  • Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
