Job Title: Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal, NY
Type: Contract | 16 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: Day & Evening Shifts | 5x8 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Vestal, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any condition changes
• Deliver care to patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Support daily resident care activities and overall clinical operations
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused nursing care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care, Rehab, or Med-Surg preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
