Job Title: Registered Nurse – Long Term Care
Location: Vestal, NY
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: Day & Evening | 5x8 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care setting in Vestal, NY. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a supportive LTC environment. The RN will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Provide specialized care for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and patient safety standards
• Support daily resident care and overall clinical operations
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and resident-focused care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Prior experience in LTC, rehabilitation, or medical-surgical settings preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
