Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Canton, Ohio
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
• Manage critically ill patients, including ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and invasive lines
• Administer medications, blood products, and titratable infusions
• Implement clinical care protocols (e.g., sepsis, infection prevention bundles)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and patient care planning
• Provide patient and family education, including end-of-life support when needed
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
• Respond to emergency situations (code blue/rapid response)

Schedule & Work Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No block scheduling

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCRN certification
• Experience with ventilators, vasoactive drips, CRRT, and post-operative critical care
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar EHR systems
