Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in an ambulatory surgery setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care throughout surgical procedures while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Perform pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing duties
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff within the OR
• Float within perioperative services as needed

Schedule & Work Details:

• 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Floating required within perioperative services
• 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• ACLS and PALS certifications
