Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dynamic acute care team. This role offers placement in Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, or Emergency Department (ED) based on experience. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision
• Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments
• Administer medications and injections as directed
• Assist with exams and procedures (e.g., injections, minor treatments)
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Support patient flow, including rooming and preparation for evaluation
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care delivery
• Assist with scheduling, chart preparation, and unit operations
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State LPN License
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
• Current CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior inpatient or acute care experience
• Experience with EMR systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
