Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility

Location: Moravia, NY 13118
Contract Duration: 26 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care within a secure correctional environment. This role involves direct clinical care, emergency response, and maintaining accurate medical documentation while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sick calls and triage patient concerns
• Administer medications, including insulin
• Respond to medical emergencies (e.g., Narcan administration, asthma attacks, injury care)
• Maintain and update patient health records and reports
• Complete incident reporting for injuries and critical events
• Perform health screenings and coordinate care as needed
• Support administrative and compliance-related functions

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of New York (Required)
• Ability to pass a background check
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and emergency response skills
