Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology

Location: Ithaca, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week

Hours: 40 hours/week

On-Call Requirement: Required

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) department. This role involves assisting with both cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment during procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and necessary equipment
• Monitor patients and ensure safety throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow
• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements:

• Active Radiologic Technologist license (State-specific)
• Strong experience in cardiac catheterization lab required
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• ARRT or RCIS certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience with both cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
