Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Syracuse, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: 5 × 8–8.5-hour shifts per week

Shift Timing: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Hours: 40–42.5 hours/week

On-Call Requirement: Possible evening and weekend on-call

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under general supervision. This role includes operating specialized imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results, and supporting patient care in a clinical setting. The technologist may also assist in training and guiding other staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Assist in training and mentoring staff when required
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of imaging equipment

Requirements:

• Active New York State license/registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification (or board eligible)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Equipment:

• Experience with nuclear medicine imaging systems (e.g., Siemens or equivalent) preferred
