Job Title: Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care

Location: Montour Falls, NY

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Evening Shift
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: 37.5–40 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, supervising support staff, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the care team
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in daily patient care activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety, and infection control standards
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-focused environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (State-specific)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a nursing home or LTC setting
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
