Location: Vestal, NY 13850
Overtime: Available
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: Day & Evening Shifts | 5x8 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses (Med Pass)
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition
• Deliver specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure adherence to facility protocols and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Required at submission)
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required

Experience Requirements

• Experience in LTC, Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical, or hospital settings accepted
