Job Title: FAST Software Engineer

Duration: Contract (6 Months)

Job Summary

The FAST Software Engineer will lead the end-to-end development of scalable, secure, and privacy-focused digital solutions, including mobile and web applications. This role involves building new features, integrating with existing systems, and ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• Lead end-to-end technical execution for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web platforms.
• Build responsive, accessible web applications compatible across browsers and devices.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile development environment.
• Develop core application logic and integrate with backend services and reporting systems.
• Implement and maintain unit testing and ensure code quality and performance.
• Apply strong privacy and security standards to protect user data.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and strategy development.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
• Strong full-stack development experience
• Experience building responsive web applications
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Experience working in agile environments using tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Azure DevOps
  • Trello
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, product, engineering)
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile application development (iOS and Android)
• Experience integrating with design systems and UI component libraries
• Knowledge of modern security protocols, encryption standards, and privacy-by-design principles
• Experience working with large-scale or enterprise systems
• Familiarity with integrating software into legacy environments
