Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit, focusing on monitoring, assessment, and treatment of adult patients. This role requires strong clinical skills, experience with telemetry monitoring, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient care using systems such as Epic Systems.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Night shifts (12-hour shifts)
• Full-time schedule (3 shifts per week)
• Acute care hospital setting
• No block scheduling

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, required at submission)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Must have prior permanent (non-travel) MS/Tele experience
• Recent (within last 6 months) experience with Epic Systems
• Certifications required:
  • BLS from American Heart Association
  • ACLS from American Heart Association
