Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVCU / Stepdown (Telemetry Cardiac)
Location: Lawton, OK
Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (holiday coverage required)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 33-bed Cardiac Stepdown (CVCU/Telemetry) unit. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing cardiovascular and telemetry patients with a typical 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate as needed
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain a safe, high-acuity patient care environment
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or telemetry experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or cardiovascular units
