Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Hettinger, North Dakota
Duration: 10 Weeks
Start Date: 05/05/2026 (Tentative)
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care


Schedule

  • 3–5 days per week
  • Evening/Night shifts (variable)
  • 8-hour or 12-hour shifts
  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • Overtime available

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The LPN will support daily nursing operations, assist in care planning, and collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resident outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans and facility policies
  • Assist in implementing and evaluating resident care under RN supervision
  • Administer medications and treatments as per state regulations and protocols
  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to RNs or physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
  • Assist with patient rounds and address resident and family concerns
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits
  • Support and guide CNAs and junior staff under RN supervision

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License (required)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification
  • IV Certification
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting
  • 0–2 years of practical nursing experience preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong clinical and patient care skills in LTC/SNF settings
  • Ability to support and mentor CNAs under RN supervision
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail in documentation and medication administration
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
