Schedule

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a qualified and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to support a multidisciplinary healthcare team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive nutritional care to adult patients across medical, surgical, and ICU units, utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy across medical, surgical, and ICU populations
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition, diet plans, and disease management
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning meetings
  • Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition services
  • Float to other units as required based on facility needs

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
  • Active South Carolina Dietetics License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in acute care settings (medical, surgical, ICU)
  • Open to first-time travelers with relevant experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical dietetics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
