Position Title: RN – Quality Assurance Nurse (Local Candidate Only)
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Facility: AZDVS – ASVH Flagstaff
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Type: Day Shift
Schedule: 3 x 11.5-hour shifts per week
Shift Hours: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 34.5 Hours
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a detail-oriented Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance to support clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role focuses on auditing care processes, monitoring infection control practices, and supporting continuous quality improvement across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate patient care practices for compliance with clinical standards and regulations
Conduct quality assurance audits and identify performance gaps
Develop, implement, and monitor corrective action and improvement plans
Oversee infection control practices and ensure adherence to protocols
Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and safety
Provide education and training to staff on quality and infection prevention standards
Track, analyze, and report quality metrics and performance data
Participate in internal and external audits and accreditation processes
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona (Required)
Infection Preventionist Certification (Required; must be completed before start if not already held)
Strong understanding of quality assurance, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
2-Step TB Test preferred
Prior experience in QA, infection prevention, or acute care nursing preferred
