Shift timing: Night Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:30 AM

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Cardiac ICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Critical Care Management: Provide intensive nursing care to patients with life-threatening cardiac conditions, requiring constant monitoring and rapid intervention
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced skills in IV insertion and phlebotomy to support diagnostic and therapeutic efforts
• Sedation Oversight: Administer and monitor conscious sedation for bedside procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
• Advanced Monitoring: Manage complex cardiac equipment and interpret hemodynamics to guide patient care plans

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Required Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated Critical Care experience
• At least two (2) years of proficiency in IV Insertion and Phlebotomy
• At least two (2) years of experience with Conscious Sedation
• Required Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License with Primary Source Verification

Certifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Proven competency in IV/Phlebotomy
