Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently across multiple settings, including emergency and surgical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors for imaging
• Operate radiologic equipment for routine and specialized procedures
• Perform portable X-ray exams in patient rooms, OR, and emergency settings
• Assist physicians with contrast procedures when required
• Ensure accurate patient identification and imaging documentation
• Maintain imaging equipment and a clean, organized work environment
• Support patient mobility, positioning, and comfort during procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling and record maintenance

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
• Ability to work independently in:
  • Emergency Room
  • Trauma cases
  • Operating Room (OR)
• Experience with portable imaging
• Pediatric experience required
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Clinical training and registry eligibility completed

Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT Certification – Required
• Active State License (New Jersey) – Required
• Ability to meet national registry requirements
