Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia services across multiple clinical areas. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-acuity environments and be proficient in assisting with complex invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare anesthesia equipment and operating rooms for procedures
• Assist anesthesia providers during procedures, including invasive line placements
• Perform room turnover and ensure readiness for upcoming cases
• Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment
• Maintain and restock supplies, carts, and anesthesia workstations
• Follow infection control and sterile processing protocols
• Support procedures involving arterial lines, central lines, and catheter placements

Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience with acute cardiac cases
• Proficiency with:
  • Central lines (CVC)
  • Arterial lines (A-line)
  • Swan-Ganz (thermodilution) catheters
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Experience in equipment reprocessing and infection control practices

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program (or equivalent experience)
• ASATT certification – Required
• BLS/CPR certification – Required
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
