Schedule: 5 days/week (35 hours), alternating weekends & holidays

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced MRI Technologist to join a radiology department in an acute care setting in New York, NY. The MRI Technologist will perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality imaging in collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using facility-specific imaging equipment
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
• Prepare, maintain, and clean the MRI suite and equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital protocols
• Participate in orientation and training programs, including EPIC EMR usage
• Ensure compliance with all imaging and safety standards

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license
• Current MRI certification (ARRT or ARMRIT)
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and reading proficiency in English)
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays on rotation
