Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Services Representative / Unit Clerk to provide administrative and clerical support in a healthcare setting. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth unit operations by managing patient records, coordinating communication across departments, and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and greeting patients and visitors
• Maintain and update patient records accurately in the EMR system
• Coordinate communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other departments
• Schedule patient appointments, tests, and procedures as required
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges by preparing necessary documentation
• Monitor unit supplies and place orders as needed
• Ensure all documentation complies with facility policies and confidentiality standards
• Provide administrative support to nursing and clinical staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
