Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Work Schedule: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) (shift variations may apply)

Location: Akron, OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support surgical services. The ideal candidate will function as a circulator, with scrub experience preferred, ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform circulating duties during surgical procedures
• Assist surgical team and maintain sterile environment
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment availability
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact license required)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room experience
• Circulator experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
