Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Type: Contract

Work Schedule: 5 days per week (32-hour weekly guarantee)

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Educate patients on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
