Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee nursing operations within a skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing nursing staff and clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the nursing department
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
• Oversee resident care planning, implementation, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
• Promote a culture of patient safety, accountability, and clinical excellence
• Address clinical and operational challenges in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state (required)
• Prior leadership experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills
• Ability to manage short-term or interim assignments effectively
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced clinical environment
