Shift Details

  • Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Occasional: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Occasional holidays

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
  • Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort
  • Operate radiologic equipment safely to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Review images for clarity and accuracy before submission to radiologists
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support efficient patient care
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report issues promptly
  • Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Active Radiologic Technologist license (Massachusetts required)
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Radiology Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning, and radiation safety
  • Experience with PACS and EMR systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
