Compensation & Details

  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week (Guaranteed)
  • Shifts: Variable
    • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
    • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
    • 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Weekend: Rotating
  • Holidays: As required
  • Eligibility: Must reside 50+ miles from facility (travel role)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using ultrasound technology. This role is critical in supporting physicians with accurate imaging for patient diagnosis while ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with clinical and safety standards
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures
  • Select appropriate equipment, transducers, and imaging techniques
  • Review patient history and clinical data to ensure accurate imaging
  • Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments for optimal results
  • Maintain accurate documentation and properly label images
  • Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including biopsies
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control compliance
  • Manage workflow efficiently to support department productivity
  • Maintain equipment and coordinate supply needs
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Deliver excellent patient and team-centered service

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
  • ARDMS Certified (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
  • Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN
  • BLS Certification (Active)
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
