Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Level I Trauma & Burn Center
Location: Miami, FL
Compensation: $30.34 – $41.50/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | Rotating shifts including weekends
Sign-On & Relocation: Available and reviewed case-by-case

A leading 400+ bed acute care hospital in West Miami-Dade County is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its high-acuity, multidisciplinary care team. This nationally recognized facility ranks among the top hospitals for clinical excellence and operates as a verified Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center as well as a certified Burn Center. The organization also serves as a teaching and research hospital with multiple accredited residency programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory care across trauma, burn, surgical, and critical care units
• Initiate, manage, and monitor invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, including airway evaluation and ventilator monitoring
• Respond to emergency and code situations, supporting airway management and resuscitation efforts
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy treatments
• Assist with airway procedures and manage ventilator-dependent patient transport
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with clinical standards and protocols

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or completion of an accredited program
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
