Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will support daily living activities, assist with patient mobility, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
• Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and monitor dietary intake
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain infection control standards, including proper use of PPE and hand hygiene
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in South Dakota
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High School Diploma or GED

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and repositioning patients
