Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to patients across all age groups in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality respiratory therapy using advanced invasive and noninvasive techniques while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory status, monitor treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans based on clinical response
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, and oxygen therapy
• Deliver both invasive and noninvasive respiratory care interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records and departmental systems
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and home care techniques
• Train and precept students and newly hired staff on respiratory care procedures and best practices
• Participate in clinical meetings, training sessions, and competency assessments
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including charge therapist duties, as assigned

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong cardiopulmonary assessment and critical care skills
• Expertise in mechanical ventilation and airway management
• Effective patient monitoring and clinical decision-making
• Ability to respond to emergency/code situations
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Accurate medical documentation and regulatory compliance
• Team collaboration and leadership abilities

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (NBRC)
• Active state licensure to practice respiratory care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary disease management
