Position Title: School LVN / LPN
Location: Lompoc, CA 93436
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Schedule: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (5x7.5-hour shifts)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide healthcare support within a school setting. This role involves delivering one-on-one student care, supporting the school nurse’s office, and floating between school sites as needed. The ideal candidate is committed to promoting student health, safety, and overall well-being.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one care to assigned students as needed
  • Deliver basic nursing care within the school health office
  • Administer medications and monitor student health conditions
  • Respond to student health concerns and emergencies promptly
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with health screenings and routine student care
  • Support students with chronic health conditions
  • Float between multiple school sites as required
  • Promote and maintain a safe and healthy school environment

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma or certification from an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program

Licensure/Certification:

  • Active California LVN/LPN license (Required)

Experience & Requirements

  • Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to provide individualized (one-on-one) student care
  • Flexibility to travel between school locations
  • Comfortable working with students across various age groups
