Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and high-quality imaging across various shifts.

Work Schedule

Bi-weekly rotating schedule:

Week 1 (40 hours):

• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (15 hrs)
• Wednesday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (8.5 hrs each)

Week 2 (32 hours):

• Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (8.5 hrs each)
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (15 hrs)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation protection standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment needs
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment effectively
• Document procedures accurately using electronic medical records (Epic)

Requirements

• Active New York State (NYS) X-Ray Technologist license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience
• ARRT certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system required
