Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – MICU | Travel Contract
Location: Cleveland, OH 44111
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Block scheduling not available

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The RN will provide critical care to patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the MICU
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intensive care support
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Float to other ICU units and Emergency Departments (ED) for patient holds as required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (required at submission)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care/ICU experience
• Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU experience prior to travel assignments

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA

Preferred:

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
