Position Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Lompoc, CA 93436
Assignment Duration: 11 Weeks
Weekly Hours: 32.5 – 33 Hours
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (5x6.5 hours)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school-based setting. This role involves implementing behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will play a key role in enhancing students' behavioral, communication, and social development within the classroom environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct support to students to improve behavioral and social skills
  • Collect, track, and document data on student progress
  • Assist in maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and supervising BCBA
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral support
  • Reinforce positive behaviors using evidence-based techniques
  • Support students during daily routines and transitions
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Certification:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)

Experience & Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
  • Basic understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to follow behavior plans and supervisory guidance
  • Comfortable working in a classroom-based environment
  • Strong commitment to supporting student growth and development
