LVN / LPN – Outpatient Clinic - LPNOC 0408 AP#03

Job Title: LVN / LPN – Outpatient Clinic
Location: Playa Vista, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8-hour shifts)
Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
Charting System: Epic

Position Summary

The LVN/LPN will provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting clinical operations and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves assisting with procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments
• Administer medications (IM, SQ, oral) and vaccines
• Perform phlebotomy and initiate/maintain IVs
• Conduct EKG/ECG procedures
• Provide wound care and assist with wound vac management
• Perform blood glucose testing and specimen collection
• Assist with oxygen therapy (nasal cannula, masks)
• Conduct telephone triage and provide patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of LVN/LPN experience
• Active California LVN/LPN license (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience in an outpatient or clinic setting preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
